§ 2-31. Removal of certain board or commission members by city council; effect of unexcused absence from three consecutive meetings.

The city council may remove members of the planning and zoning commission, library board, parks and recreation board, board of adjustment, historical preservation and restoration board and senior advisory board as provided for in section 2.09 of the city Charter. Any member of such board or commission who shall have been absent without excuse or justification for three consecutive meetings shall automatically be considered for removal.
