Unless otherwise stated in the Charter, this Code, or federal or state law, any person
appointed by the city council to a board, commission, or committee established pursuant
to the Charter, this Code, other city ordinance, or resolution of the city council
shall continue to serve in the position to which the person is appointed, including
for periods following the end of the person's term, until the city council appoints
another person to fill the position and said other person has otherwise qualified
to hold the position.
