There is hereby created an animal shelter advisory committee composed of eight members
appointed by the city council. The members of the animal shelter advisory committee
shall be appointed to serve for a term of two term years; provided, however, the term
of a person filling a vacancy shall be on the date of appointment and end on the date
the term for the position vacated would have ended had the position not been vacated.
The animal shelter advisory committee shall meet not less than three times a year
upon the call of the chair, city manager, or director of environmental health.
