§ 34-212. Unattended vehicles.

  • (a)

    Obstructing traffic. It shall be unlawful to leave a vehicle unattended within a public right-of-way or on public property that obstructs traffic.

    (b)

    Removal. Notwithstanding any of the other provisions of this division, any unattended vehicle that obstructs traffic within a public right-of-way or on public property may be immediately removed by the police department.

    (c)

    Authority of city to remove. The city shall have the authority to immediately remove any vehicle which is on public property and causes an immediate threat to human safety, health, welfare, or any governmental function, or creates a public disturbance.
