§ 44-33. Nonresident use of library.

(a)

A nonresident fee shall be charged to residents of those cities that charge city residents a fee to use their library. The fee schedule shall be recommended by the library board and approved by the city council.

(b)

Elementary and secondary school students attending school in the city and those attending W.T. White High School shall be exempt from the fee.

(c)

The owner or manager of businesses within the city shall be exempt from the nonresident fee.

(d)

The city may sell cards to those cities that do not have a public library at terms and fees established by the city council.
