§ 44-36. Fines—Generally.

Fines shall be collected for failure to return, at the date due, any books or other library materials and equipment which have been loaned to holders of library cards. The schedule of fines shall be established by the city council upon the recommendation of the city manager following consultation with the library board and the library director.
