Chapter 62. SIGNS, ADVERTISING, MERCHANDISE SALE AND DISPLAY

§ 62-16. Political signs.

Latest version.

Signs that contain primarily a political message may be located on private real property only with the consent of the property owner provided that the sign:
(1)

Is not located in any public right-of-way, on any public property or in any easement dedicated for a public purpose;

(2)

Is not illuminated;

(3)

Has no moving elements;

(4)

Does not exceed 36 square feet in area; and

(5)

Does not exceed eight feet in height above grade.
