§ 86-76. Septic tanks; installation and maintenance.

(a)

All septic tanks installed in the city shall be installed in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the county health officer.

(b)

All septic tanks located in the city shall be maintained in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the county health officer so as to prevent such tanks from constituting a health hazard. It shall be unlawful and an offense for any person to permit any of his septic tanks to be in such a condition as to constitute a health hazard to the residents of the city.
